According to reports, the wife had to look through the window after knocking on the door numerous times without receiving a response, when she found her husband’s body swinging from the rope he apparently used to tie himself to the room’s roof.
When the door was forced open, it was discovered that the dead had set up tables and footstools in preparation for his suicide.
Pastor Oyedeji Aladenika, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Ogbese, characterized the tragedy as distressing and questioned why the deceased had to kill himself.
The man had a dislocation in his leg, according to the CAN Chairman, but his wife and children were taking care of him.
