According to them, the documentary is titled “The Untold G.O.A.T” and narrates how a young boy went against all odds to become one of the greatest footballers in Ghana and beyond. The Untold G.O.A.T is an eye-opening and revealing documentary of a football legend whose history has been lost. Many Ghanaians and football lover have soon forgotten about his legendary.
The 30-minute documentary which will be aired on all Atinka Media Village’s platforms: Atinka TV, Atinka FM, Atinkaonline.com and all its social media handles was produced and directed by the reigning Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) Sports Journalist of The Year, Saddick Adams alias Sports’ Obama, who is also Head of Sports at Atinka Media Village.
The documentary, which features legendary sports journalist, Joe Lartey is an attempt by Atinka Media Village to rekindle the making of documentaries on the country’s forgotten heroes.
Joe Lartey explains in the documentary that the death of the footballer in question denied him the opportunity of winning the sought-after FIFA Ballon d’Or award for Ghana in its early years.
The UNTOLD G.O.A.T is a story of striking football moments, golden memories, bitterness, flamboyance, loyalty, and tragedy that will honour and mark a landmark anniversary of this legendary son of the land.
