Buhari Is Retiring To Kaduna – Governor El-Rufai Reveals

President Muhammadu Buhari will retire to Kaduna state at the end of his term in 2023, according to Governor Nasir el-Rufai.

El-Rufai stated this to State House Correspondents following a meeting with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, December 21.

He also mentioned that, although being from Katsina state, President Buhari had spent the majority of his life in Kaduna.

According to the Governor,

“Mr President has been invited to come and commission some of our projects. He will spend two to three days in Kaduna commissioning projects in Kafanchan, Kaduna and Zaria.

“As you know, the President is a Kaduna-based citizen. He is originally from Katsina state, but he spent most of his life in Kaduna. And he’s retiring to Kaduna.

“We hope that he will be happy with what we have done and he will be proud of what we have done as an APC government, and we appreciate all the support that he has given us to enable us to do this.”

In other news, COVID-19 is real, according to William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry.

The speaker described how a church minister became infected with the virus and had to go into isolation while speaking during a media conference for a six-day campaign organized by the church on Tuesday, December 21.

COVID-19, according to Kumuyi, is not a “politically-arranged thing.” He stated,

“From my observation, I know that COVID-19 is real and it’s not fake. It’s not a politically-arranged thing. It’s real.

“We’ve had people who had real COVID-19 situations and they were in isolation. In fact, one of our pastors was about passing on. According to him, he had said his last prayer, because in that isolation, he had seen other people dying. I knew about it and I called him on phone and prayed with him and within one hour, he was completely healed.”
