Burna Boy has won African Artiste of The Year at Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 which also marks 20 years of them awarding hard working Ghanain and African artistes. – Burna Boy Wins African Artiste of The Year Award At Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019

He competed in the category fot African African Artiste of The Year with Davido, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Cassper Nyovest, and Sauti Soul, all of whom are great African artiste. He still emerged as winner due to his hard work, talent and the creativity he has exhbit in the year under review, which surpasses them all.

Burna Boy before the winner of the category was announced, he entertained his fans here in Ghana with amazing songs that energized them. He tookthe led and they sang along with happiness.

He is one of the Africa’s biggest export. He was nominated for this year’s BET Best International Act category alongside other Africa acts; AKA and Mr Eazi.

Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 recorded a high patronage but the sad news was that there was a little chaos which occured at the event between Shatta Wale and Stonebowy as Stonebwoy wins the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of The Year over the Shatta Movement boss, Shatta Wale.

As a result of the chaos which occured at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the organizers of the awards scheme, Charter House have with-held results for two category, that is, the Artiste of The Year and Popular Song of The Year Award.
