The family of the late Rawlings has announced the date for the final funeral rite of the former President.

The longest serving Ghanaian Head of state who passed on to glory on November 12, 2020 will be finally laid to rest on December 23 2020.

Blackstars Square popularly known as the Independence Square will be the venue of the funeral of Jerry John Rawlings

This information was made available by James Victor Gbeho, the head of the funeral planning committee

He said the bereaved family is working with the government of Ghana on finer details of the funeral.
