Economic and Organized Crime Organization (EOCO) have busted some health officials for operating a baby harvesting and trafficking syndicate.
In a joint press statement released by EOCO and the Medical & Dental Council, how the suspected criminals were arrested whiles in the act have been explained.
Having begun the investigation from June 2020, 2 doctors, 2 social workers, 4 nurses, 2 mothers and a traditional birth attendants were arrested.
The price at which babies are sold is GH¢30,000 per baby.
