Veteran Ghanaian actor, Psalm Adjeteyfio, well known as T.T has finally clarified that he never begged Mzgee for food in the leaked audio, but the “leftovers” he used in his appeal was only a figurative word.
According to him, the fact that he mentioned the word “leftovers” doesn’t mean he was requesting food but whatever he said was only figurative language, meaning he was asking for money and not necessarily food.
Speaking in an interview with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM on the Best Entertainment show, Psalm Adjeteyfio stated that he could call some of his friends and still use the word “leftover” but he doesn’t necessarily mean he wants food but he needs financial assistance.
He also revealed that Mzgee has been of great help to him to the extent of appealing for donations on his behalf from her followers on social media and also getting her a mobile phone when his phone was no longer functioning.
T.T also stated that he is doubtful that Mzgee will deliberately leak their conversation to the public given their bond and the help she has rendered to him on multiple occasions.
As a reminder, the leaked audio had Psalm Adjeteyfio begging for leftovers from Mzgee’s kitchen, saying that the GHc1,500 monthly stipend promised him by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey came only once and stopped.
This comes after he received an amount of GHc50,000 from the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to cater for his rental issues and financial instability.
