Well, this comes at the back of the undecisive debate as to who the real Reggae/Dancehall king is in Ghana. Talking about dancehall in Ghana, the three frontrunners who have earned their place as most-recognized dancehall musicians from Ghana are Samini, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy.

These three have all made claims of being the king of dancehall in Ghana. A few days ago, Beenie Man, the Jamaican dancehall heavyweight made claims of being the dancehall king in Africa while Stonebwoy, his son is the “Prince of dancehall” in Africa.

Speaking in a yet-to-be-premiered edition of the Atuu show hosted by Abeiku Santana, Samini stated that he is the originator of African Reggae/Dancehall, hence he is the king.

He stated that no dancehall musician in Ghana can show any iota of disrespect towards him when he walks into the room because he is the King of Reggae/Dancehall in Ghana.

It would be recalled that the dancehall maestro had to cancel last year’s edition of his #BhimConcert due to the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

Well, Stonebwoy earlier announced the comeback of the annual #BhimConcert which was scheduled for 21st December 2021.
