This comes after he was made to appear before the circuit court today, accused of causing fear and panic following a death prophecy he made about the dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale. Recall, the man of God was arrested at the premises of Accra FM on Tuesday.

In court, Jesus Ahuofe pleaded not guilty of the charges leveled against him of causing fear and panic with his doom prophecy.

His lawyer, Martin Kpebu while praying for bail for his client at the circuit court presided over by Her Honor Ellen Offie Aryeh stated that his client was unwell, thus needed to be granted bail.

However, he was unable to provide any evidence to ascertain his claims, thus the prosecution led by Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey opposed the bail, thereby remanding the accused person into police custody to reappear before the court on Monday, 25th October 2021.

In other related news, the wife of Jesus Ahuofe, Madam Vivian Appiah has demanded justice as she laments that her husband is innocent.

According to her, her husband did nothing wrong so the police can take his case to the court if they have doubts about her husband’s innocence. She stated that the authorities claim they have received an order from above not to release her husband but they haven’t been able to point out the one who gave the order.
