Dr. George Akuffo Dampare since he was sworn in as the new head of police has received praise from Ghanaians for his strict and disciplined measures in enforcing the laws of the land.

Almost every citizen in the country has now taken note of the importance of obeying the laws on the account that none will be spared should he or she go against the constitution.

It would be vividly recalled that Dr. Dampare earned the admiration of Ghanaians when he personally arrested a reckless V8 driver on the street. He was also captured in a viral video saving the life of a lady who reportedly went unconscious at the airport.

Well, Dr. Dampare is also here to assure Ghanaians that the police is their friend, hence there is no need for them to be intimidated when they see them provided they are abiding by the law and not flouting them.

In a video sighted on social media, IGP was seen engaging an Uber driver in a conversation asking him if he has ever been offended by the Ghana Police Service ever since he started working on the road.

He engaged in a good conversation with the driver while wishing him all the best in his work, telling him to learn the full meaning of Uber because he would ask him again when he meets him. In a nutshell, IGP wants to eradicate the fear in Ghanaians that they would be manhandled and arrested by the police even when they are innocent.
