My Father Abandoned Me; My Mother Tried Aborting Me Thrice – Noble Nketsiah

Gospel musician Noble Nketsiah has shared a sad story about his life; how his father abandoned him at a tender age.

During an interview on “Restoration with Stacy”, the gospel artist narrated how his father rejected the pregnancy and insisted that he did not get his mother pregnant. However, he only took responsibility when he turned ten years.

“Initially, he did not want to accept the pregnancy. Some elderly people spoke to him about the need to father me. My mother also said some people told him that I was handsome, we had a striking resemblance. My father came to pick me at age 10 to stay with him.” he said.

Narrating how he became an artist, he disclosed that his mother and his father were all singers in church and the talent of singing flowed in their blood. He disclosed that it was through their numerous choir practice that they met and his mother got pregnant in the process.

“Interestingly, my father was the choirmaster. During the selection process, he said I was not qualified but later, I understood him. He wanted me to be a member of the choir on merit; I had to work my way into the choir”.

Talking about his mother, Noble disclosed that his mother was a staff at KATH and wanted him to become a doctor because of what happened between his mother and father. “My mother never wanted me to have anything to do with music. She always cautioned me” Nobble added.
