Aced Gospel Musician and Minister Sonnie Badu have finally spoken about the brawl that occurred at the 20th Edition of The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. – “Unite The Youth And Lift Up The Flag of Ghana” – Sonnie Badu to Stonebwoy & Shatta Wale
He first addressed the issue in a Facebook live video saying he didn’t want to get involved at the first place but he knows his fans and followers might be asking to know what was happening in his homeland Ghana the reason he is adding his voice to explain.
All that he is saying is for these two great dancehall artistes and rivals to come together to life the name of the nation across the borders and uniting the youth with their works as he refers to Davido and Wizkids issues that also happened some time ago and how it was resolved.

Teacher Kwadwo have received the most unexpected replies in his life as he had chosen to be inquisitive and interrogative about issues that has nothing or little to do with him.
At the beginning of the video, Shatta Wale did want to talk to Teacher Kwadwo at all but as cunny as the comedian is he tried his best to get him talking (and I bet he’d be regretting he did). Shatta Wale shouldn’t be blamed for badmouthing the short skits comedian and teacher since he got what he wanted.

Maghreb TV, an entertainment youtube channel have broken down the whole event into segments giving some details about what happened at the just ended awards event. He went further to tell viewers about how, when, who and what brought about the fight between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy last Saturday.
The confusion that occurred right after Stonebwoy was announced Dancehall Artiste of The Year marred the whole event and led to the quick decision by the board to suspend two award category and jumping straight to the ultimate awards of the night – “Artiste of the decade”, which was won by Sarkodie.
According to the information gathered by CelebritiesBuzzGh.Com, both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy who was said to have been arrested a day after the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have been granted bail and waiting to be processed to court.

Kuami Eugene was one of the most entertainers and award winners at the just ended 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019. After a marvelous performance with legendary highlife musician Abrantie Amakye Dede, Kuami Eugene was about leaving the stage when Amakye Dede called him to come back to the stage.
He said he never had hope that Highlife music would survive after they have left the music but now he has seen how revived the genre is thank to young and talented Kuami Eugene whom he has worked with on countless occasions both in and outside of the country.
He then placed a golden-like crown on Kuami Eugene’s head saying he’s the redeemer of modern day highlife and that he should keep up with the good works he’s been doing.
This year and previous years, the now winner of the producer of the year award, has been releasing hit songs back to back. He finally released his debut album last year with won him an award this year. As the saying goes ‘”Hard work pays” and it really did pay Kuami Eugene with a couple of awards.
Many fans were of the hope that Kuami Eugene has really worked hard under the year of review and deserves the Artiste of The Year Award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. It was now left with Charterhouse, the organizers of the annual music awards event to announce the winner but it didn’t happen.
Awards for two categories viz, Popular Song of the Year and Artiste of Year were withheld due to the confusion that went on between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale over the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year Award.
