Three Robbery Suspects Nabbed at Atasomanso, Ashanti Region

Three suspected robbers have reportedly been arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police Command on December 31st, 2021.

Through a targeted special operation at Atasomanso in the Ashanti Region, this morning, the Ashanti Regional Police Intelligence Unit and Anti-Robbery Squad arrested three robbery suspects: Dominic Afriyie, 28 years old, Frederick Achar, 26 years old, and Richard Simpson, 23 years old.

Following intelligence that a group of thieves was planning to rob several inhabitants of Atasomanso and its surroundings, the police began monitoring and surveillance activities.

At 2:30 a.m., the crew intercepted a Toyota Corolla taxi cab with four people with the registration number AS 5970 – 20 in Atasomanso. The taxi cab driver fled while they were being apprehended.

Two foreign handguns, a Blow F92 and a Revolver, two shotguns concealed in the taxi booth, and various mobile phones were discovered during a check of the taxi and the three suspects.

The three suspects are being held in police custody and are collaborating with the investigation. Efforts are being made to apprehend the alleged driver.

In other news, Ghanaian-American singer, Ama Serwah Genfi, affectionately known as Amaarae has sounded a strong warning to her critics on social media, asking them to let go of the bad and dirty mind they have against her.

According to her, her haters must be willing to denounce any bad and ill thoughts they have against her because once God starts getting furious on her behalf, they wouldn’t be any mercy left to show them.

In a tweet, Amaarae intimated that as soon as God begins to get angry on her behalf and fight her battles for her, she wouldn’t have any idea on how to stop Him from invoking his wrath on her enemies.
