We’re Reviewing 31st Night Prophecy Videos; Guilty Prophets Will Be Prosecuted – Ghana Police

The Ghana Police Service has issued a statement saying that they are reviewing 31st cross-over service prophecies by some men of God.

The press statement released by the police has issued a warning that the law of publication of information including prophecies that have the tendency to cause fear and panic to people’s lives is not only limited to 31st December but on a daily basis.

The statement also said that the law is not against any religion or its practices or the performance of religious doctrines but the law is being used to put everyone in checks.

According to the police, some video footage has come to their attention regarding the communique released before the 31st of December caution religious leaders to desist from causing fear and panic with their prophecies.

“We wish to reiterate that the law and the police are not against religious practices or the performance of religious doctrines and beliefs such as prophecies. However, if such information is communicated publicly and undermines the laws of the state, the relevant laws and sanctions will be applied,” the law enforcement agency said in its statement”, part of the statement read.
