The Bachelor alum, who first hit our screens during Nick Viall’s season, is now a mom to 2.5-year-old Winston Wolfe. And according to Vanessa Grimaldi, her son is breaking all the toddler stereotypes.
“No terrible two situation yet,” she told Us Weekly in an interview published April 23. “He’s going on three. So maybe we just completely skipped the stage.”
Not only is Winston avoiding meltdowns, he’s apparently already got personality, conversation skills, and a sense of humor. Vanessa’s clearly smitten.
“He’s able to express himself. He’s able to engage in conversations and reason. He’s witty and he’s a very sweet boy—and he gets that from his father.”
Vanessa, now 37, welcomed Winston in September 2022—on her birthday, no less—one year after tying the knot with Canadian entrepreneur Joshua Wolfe. And while she’s always spoken fondly of her husband, she says nothing compares to the moment she met her son.
“I love my husband, so in love with him. He’s the greatest human being in the world,” she said. “But the second I had my son in my arms I was like, ‘I’ve never experienced a love like this in my life.’”
Still, even the most blissed-out moms need a breather. Vanessa recently traveled to New York for a string of events—her first real solo work trip since becoming a mom—and she got emotional about the separation.
“I cried all day,” she admitted. “It’s a very big deal, but it feels good. This is my initiation to doing a little bit more Vanessa time away from home.”
Her word for the year? Presence. It was a concept she tried to live by before becoming a mom—but now, Winston has given that word a whole new meaning.
“Now he’s taught me how to be more present in life,” she said. “It’s such a gift.”

❤️ Still Solid With Joshua
While motherhood takes up most of her bandwidth these days, Vanessa and her husband still find ways to show up for each other.
“Luckily, my husband and I really worked on our relationship before having Winston, so we had such a solid foundation,” she explained.
That foundation is what’s helping them navigate the shift in dynamic that comes with parenting a young child.
“Of course our relationship changed after having a kid. It’s 99 percent of the time focused on the child. But we try to do cute things for each other.”
Recently, Joshua surprised her with flowers, a handwritten card, and a sweet video message—reminders that love languages still matter, even with a toddler crawling all over the couch.
“We try to do date nights whenever we have a babysitter at home and we really try to spend as much time as a family and as a couple to keep that love alive.”
💭 Vanessa 2.0
From reality TV star to wife, mother, and full-time toddler wrangler, Vanessa Grimaldi has stepped into her next chapter with clarity, love, and an obvious sense of gratitude.
Winston might not be causing chaos (yet), but one thing’s for sure—he’s already got his mom wrapped around his little finger.
