Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo has been nominated by President Akufo-Addo as the Gender, Children and Social Protection.

The Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament replaces Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison who served at that Ministry during Akufo-Addo’s first term.

In Akufo-Addo’s first term, Hon. Adwoa Safo was the Minister of State in charge of Government Procurement.

The 39-year-old lawyer will face the yer to be constituted Vetting and Appointment of Parliament before she would be sworn in to serve as Minister.
