The President of the Confederations of Africa Football Ahmad Ahmad has been slapped with 5 years ban from football.

The ethics committee of FIFA conducted investigations into his administration and found he’s engaged in financial misconduct.

Ahmad Ahmad was found out to have used CAF money to fund pilgrimages for Umrah to Mecca.

He used his position as CAF President to offer gifts to his personal benefits which is against the FIFA code of ethics.

The ban means Ahmad Ahmad seizes to be the CAF President and will be ineligible to contest in the CAF election slated for 2021.
