According to the gospel singer, developing a country comes at an expense of every citizen, hence it is essential that the government created this avenue to generate revenues in fixing the country.

Speaking with Zionfelix, Cwesi Oteng stated that most citizens do not like paying taxes in some other countries but he feels the initiative taken by the Akufo Addo government to enact changes in the country through taxations will help make the country better.

Cwesi also revealed that he is always happy when Telcos deduct some amount of money from him whenever he uses the mobile money services because, with that, he feels he has contributed to some in the country.

“Me if they deduct money on my MOMO transactions, it makes me happy because I feel like I am contributing something,” he said.

“If money doesn’t leave, how does the money come to you, so I feel like I am contributing something to the country and it has nothing to do with politics,” he added.

Cwesi Oteng further stated that he believes in the Akufo Addo-led government especially with the construction of the National Cathedral and the Free SHS policy and those were the reasons why he voted for the New Patriotic Party during the 2020 General elections.
