The Maid’s Desire (Part 1)

As the warm sun rays flashed through the bay windows and sliding glass doors of their plush Ashongman Estates home, Eunice, a banker and Agyekum, a business man began their day with a tender embrace.

Their love was noticeable, and the laughter of their three children, Odensi, Maafia, and Sikayena filled the air as they prepared for another day. Serwaa, their loyal maid, watched with a mix of admiration and longing as the family shared a joyful breakfast.

As she cleared the table, Serwaa’s thoughts drifted to a forbidden fantâsy: What if she were the one married to Agyekum, soaking in his love and attention instead of Eunice? The fleeting desire sparked a fire within her, and she felt an overwhelming urge to supplant her madam.

With a quiet determination, Serwaa began to ponder the possibilities. She started to notice the smallest details about Agyekum, from the way he smiled to the way he sipped his coffee. Her fascination grew, and she found herself lost in daydreams of a life where she was the mistress of the house, not just the maid. She was tired of running errands and washing plates.

As weeks turned into months, Serwaa’s desires grew stronger. She couldn’t shake off the envy she felt towards Eunice, who had everything she had ever wanted – a comfortable life, respect, and a man who cared for her.

One evening, as she sat under the shade of the mango tree in the backyard, an old friend from the village visited. After catching up, Serwaa confided in her about her feelings for Agyekum. Her friend whispered of a juju man, someone who could help her get what she wanted.

The next day, as the morning bustle subsided, Serwaa’s resolve solidified. She would find a way to make her fantâsy a reality, no matter the cost.
