He went to the Lancet Hospital in East Legon, where a CT scan revealed that he had a tumor on the left side of his head, and he praised the Lancet Hospital for identifying it.

He then double-checked the information in the United States, where it was corroborated.
His medical staff in the United States, according to Hon Kennedy Agyapong, was able to determine the exact size of the tumor and how long it had been sitting in his skull.

He was then told that he needed to have operation to fix it before it became cancerous. Kennedy Agyapong confirmed that he underwent brain surgery, but he refuted accusations that he was suffering from a stroke.

After the interview, Hon Kennedy Agyapong distributed money to widows and elderly people in his constituency. He also covered the costs of some pupils’ tuition.
