Mr Maxwell Kwame Atsah, the Parliamentary aspirant of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) in the Akatsi South Constituency of the Volta region has said one of his priorities if elected as Member of Parliament would be on youth development.
He said some of his key areas include, creating decent and sustainable jobs for the youth and investing in young ones to have access to free quality education up to the tertiary level.
Mr Atsah disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency during his ‘house to house’ campaign strategy adopted by the party in the constituency.
He said “many social intervention policies introduced by the founder and former President of Ghana, the late Dr Kwame Nkrumah would come to light when the CPP takes power from the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Mr Atsah promised to introduce youth mentorship programmes to the area “so many young ones can learn to become great men and women in the future.”
He, therefore, appealed to the electorates to vote massively for the CPP since they were tired of the two main political parties.
He also cautioned the youth to desist from acts of electoral violence in the December polls.
Mr Atsah, a 30-year-old teacher is contesting the Akatsi South seat with four other aspirants namely, Mr Bernard Ahiafor, the NDCs incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) of Akatsi South, Mr Leo Nelson Adzidogah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Sanusi Murana of the National Democratic Party (NDP) and Mr Donald Brown Dzamesi of the All People’s Congress (APC ).

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has lifted the restrictions imposed on the operation for drinking bars and tourist sites amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Nana Akufo-Addo in his 14th nation address to the nation on Sunday, July 26, 2020, on measures taken to ease the spread of the coronavirus, said restaurants, hotels, drinking bars and all other food chain suppliers which were closed should now be open for business, with full implementation of the COVID-19 safety protocol such as social distancing, wearing of masks and washing of hands and using of hand sanitizers.
“In consultation with the Ghana Tourism Authority and the health experts, I’m announcing the reopening of our nation’s tourist sites and attractions so they can begin to receive visitors. Open-air drinking spots can now function. The management of these facilities are, thus, to enforce enhanced hygiene and social distancing protocols,” President Akufo-Addo said.
He, however, said pubs, nightclubs and cinemas remain closed. “Beaches, pubs, cinemas and nightclubs, however, remain closed until further notice,” the president added.
Ghana’s confirmed cases stand at 32,437 with 3,349 active cases and 28,927 recoveries.
Musician and record producer Article Wan has alleged that his colleague musician Patapaa is a Somalian, hence the need for the government to ban him from doing music.
The “Solo” hitmaker went hard on Patapaa in an interview with Nkonkonsa TV following the latter’s diss song titled “My Dog Food”.
Patapaa recently released the song where he accused Article Wan of eating his dog’s food.
Aside from the diss song, Patapaa has also been branding himself as the ‘saviour’ of Article Wan’s music career, stating in various interviews that the afro-dancehall artiste’s career was drowning till he met him (Patapaa) and they did a collaboration.
Their song ‘That Thing’, according to Patapaa, revived Article Wan’s music career.
Reacting to this, Article Wan has released ballistic missiles on Patapaa describing him as a ‘dog’, adding that he is not even of Ghanaian nationality.
He also called on the authorities in Ghana’s music industry to ban Patapaa from doing music, stressing that his style of music is a disgrace to the entertainment fraternity.
“Patapaa and I, who resembles a dog?” he questioned, further stressing the “government must seize Patapaa’s music licence. He is ruining the business. He is not even Ghanaian. He looks like someone from Somalia.”
The CEO of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade, says that this year’s edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) slated for August will have a live audience.

She revealed that the venue for the event would host about 100 people while observing the needed health protocols including social distancing.
According to her, the audience would consist of artistes who would perform and other nominated acts.
Explaining why the 2020 VGMA has delayed, she said, “We just needed the government to ease restrictions a little bit so we could have a few more people at the event because we could not just work with 25 people.”
Speaking on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z show, Mrs Ayoade told George Quaye, host of the show, that her team had put together a plan that would help them run a successful show.
“The event will be about 80% virtual and 20% live. We will have some live performances and hope we have all the artistes present to pick up their awards,” she added.
She said that the organizers would issue a statement that would communicate to Ghanaians what to expect on the night.
The VGMA is being organized to reward deserving artistes for their hard work, dedication and contribution to Ghana’s music industry.
This year’s edition marks the 21st edition of the event, which has over the years celebrated hardworking players in the music industry.
Since its inception in 2000, the VGMA has grown to become the biggest event on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar, designed to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of various players in Ghana’s music industry.

According to the 26 year old, loosing her father to the hands of death is painful and she is devastated and broken. The curvy actress revealed that her late dad loved and supported her to become an actress.

“My shop has been on lockdown. There is no movie and no income. Staying at home is even a burden because there is no light to do anything. Things haven’t been easy. For now, all I do is sleep, wake up, do some exercises, and then pray. I miss traveling. I am not used to staying in a place. I love working. I just pray this pandemic ends soon,” she bemoaned.

The group with two ladies are the one preaching the word of God to me inviting me to come to their Church the following day and I was buying looking their seductive dress which make me obliged that I will follow them as far I will see them in the Church tomorrow, We exchange contact that they will call me tomorrow morning to remind me and I said no problem.
It was Sunday morning and one of the girl called me that Bro Sunday are you ready and I answer her that yes I am ready, u dressed up as I met her at junction we started talking when we are waiting for others to join us and I ask her why are they using you girls to do evangelism and why will they allow you girls to seductive clothes like this, The girl smile and said I know it’s because of my dressing you agreed to follow us and I said yes and I ask her did u actually dress like that to attract guys and convinced to come to your church, she said no but I know she’s lying.
We reach Church and after praise and worship , offering, Bible reading and they call first timer to come out after they sing for us and the pastor as if we speak in tongue and if not they will teach us I was like what’s going on here that they use beautiful girls to invite us and now they are telling us that they will teach us how to speak in tongue.
After the Church service I told my neighbor that I will never come to this church again that u DNT know this kind Is happening in house of God using young ladies to attract people to church and telling us that they will teach us how to speak in tongue.

Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter and television personality. Born in Manhattan and raised in The Bronx, New York City, she became an internet celebrity after several of her posts and videos became viral on Vine and Instagram.
Cardi B was in Ghana earlier this month for the Livespot X Festival as the headline artiste.
Though her stay in Ghana was very short, she was greeted with so much controversy by the Ghanaian entertainment industry. However, she confessed that amidst the controversies she loved the time she spent in Ghana and would love to come back one day.

This comes as a huge surprise because we don’t remember seeing her pregnant but just as some celebrities, notably Yvonne Nelson concealed her pregnancy until she gave birth, it’s possible Efya toed the same line.
Efya is actually one of those few celebrities in Ghana who has kept her private life away from the fingertips of people on social media. Her private means private until she decides it’s time and equally important to share with her larger family (her fans).

I Sold Bread For 13-Years – Governor Makinde | Seyi Makinde has revealed that he sold bread for the first 13 years of his life by the gate of Adeoyo state hospital in Ibadan before becoming the Governor of Oyo State.
Governor Makinde was present at the 80th Thanksgiving service of his mother, Mrs. Abigael Makinde.
Governor Mikinde Says He sold bread for the first 13 years of his life.
According to him, he and his 3 brothers used to help his mother to sell the bread.
He added that what propelled him to think of becoming governor of his state was free education.
The Oyo State Governor who disclosed this at the 80th thanksgiving service of his mother Mrs. Abigael Makinde at St Paul Anglican Church in Yemen on Sunday, November 10, said he only became successful by getting educated.
According to him, his declaration of free education in the state was aimed at ensuring residents of the state get the benefit of being educated. Governor Makinde also urged parents in the state to put the education of their children first.
“For the first 13 years of my life, where we lived was not more than five minutes to where we are now. My mum was a Telephone Operator in the state secretariat. At Adeoyo State Hospital here, I and my brother Muyiwa also used to help her sell bread by the gate of Adeoyo State Hospital.
“What can propel a child who used to live some five minutes away from here [Yemetu] to become a Governor of Oyo state is education. And that is why we have declared that free and qualitative education has come to stay in Oyo state,” Makinde said.

Rev Obofour Blows Cash On Fameye During Performance At His Church | Reverend Obofour, Ghanaian pastor and found of the Anointed Palace Chapel recently invited the “Addiction” hitmaker to perform in his church auditorium.
This is not something new, a secular artiste performing in the “house of God” as Rev Obofour is known for a lot of controversies. Not too long ago he was invited by the Ghana Police to aid them in investigations after he made a man smoke weed on live TV in his church.
Aside from the “Weed Miracle” controversy, he has been in a feud with the founder and head pastor of the International Gods Way Chapel, Angel Daniel Obinim. This another controversy that took over the internet with both parties exchanging vulgar speeches in their submissions.
Last week Rev Obofour set another controversy wheel rolling. He has invited Fameye, the “Nothin I Get” hitmaker to perform in his church but that was not all. He joined Fameye whiles he was performing various of his songs, dancing to them with his junior pastors. Then as Fameye continued his performance, he pulled out bundles of cash spreading them on him while dancing.

Fantana Nominated For 3RD TV Music Video Awards | Even though Fantana is new in the Ghanaian music industry, she has hated her share of the “hate” in the industry and has tasted some sought of betrayals but it doesn’t look like she’s stopping now. She seems to get motivated the more and keeps making her name. The recent big news about Fantana is her nomination for 3RD TV Music Video Awards.
After a long period of a wait after the announcement for artistes to submit their works for 3RD TV Music Video Awards 2019 Nominations, the organizers of the event has finally compiled and released the full list of qualified works that were nominated. This year’s edition of the 3RD TV Music Video Awards has been themed the “Green Edition”.
Fantana who has already gotten one nomination with her debut single “So What”which was nominated for MTN 4Syte TV Music Video Awards 2019, has been nominated again for the 3RD TV Music Video Awards 2019. This shows how hardworking, the young artiste is. To achieve this feat with a very short period of say a month or two is really amazing. Aside from these nominations, Fantana has won the love and admiration of many Ghanaian which has amassed her a huge following on social media which gets bigger and bigger each passing day.

There have been rumours that she has moved from her first record label, the RuffTown Records which is managed by Bullet. The controversy was actually confirmed by both parties as they took to social media to address their sentiments. Many are of the view that this is just another publicity stunt strategized by Bullet (as he is known for trending with controversies) to hype her two female artistes.
Wendy Shay, however, has revealed in a radio interview that she is cool with Fantana and have no problems whatsoever. She also added that she (Fantana) is still her label mate under RuffTown Records. If this is the truth then whatever plans they made are working out successfully for them as both teams are winning.

Ms Forson had also mentioned in one of her interviews that Bullet forced her to divorce her husband after they were married for only 4 months. She added that aside from that, Bullet charged her an outrageous sum of $50,000 which he was to add another $50,000 in managing her (Ms Forson) career.
In a new interview with ZionFelix, Ms Forson has revealed that she comes from a family of musicians. That is from her father down to their last born. She mentioned that her junior sister is very good at music and that she plays saxophone and can sing way better than her (Ms Forson).

Not long ago, Bob Risky left many internet users including his huge following surprised and perhaps some irritated, after he took to his IG page to post about the pregnancy dream he had the other night.
According to the transvestite, he had dreamed of being pregnant and rushed to the hospital where he gave birth to a baby girl. See below her post on Instagram.
“Good morning… my house help woke me up about 20min ago. I dreamt I was pregnant and everybody on ig was shouting jezzzz how did Bobrisky get pregnant. To cut the story short I saw myself at the hospital with my baby girl beside me. Only for me to see my bestie beside me @tontolet shouting congratulations. I was wondering how I delivered the baby. I asked the doctor if I push or how did I delivered the baby. The doctor was just smiling ”, he wrote.
