He has been popularly noticed for his love for big sized shoes. He has been spotted at various event wearing oversized pair of shoes. Most of his pictures are evidence that he is really into those kind of footwears.

This has become like a norm for him and many people no longer get surprised seeing him wearing them like they used to do. The most intriguing thing is that he gets people talking about him with the next “big shoe” he wears and that’s really amazing.
We can say on authority that King Promise’s career has been positively affected by his love for oversized shoes especially when he wore his ‘oversized’ Balenciaga sneakers to the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
This was his first time at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2018 where he had several nominations and won zero awards out of many nominations he had including ‘New Artiste of the Year.’

Even though he didn’t winner any award that night, he didn’t leave the event the same way he came.
King Promise who felt the effect of that night has since been motivated to wear such big shoes and now it seems he has adopted the ‘big sized shoes’ culture as his brand.

He denied the fact that there’s a reason for his taste for “oversized shoes”. Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Tuesday, he said there was no particular reason why he wears big shoes.

According to the Abena hitmaker, wearing big shoes or clothes have been his style and way of dressing hence he doesn’t see it as extraordinary.
He told Andy Dosty that his mood can greatly affect his wardrobe selection.
“I love big shoes. I have always dressed like this from day one. It depends on how I feel. I can wear big or small stuff. I love fashion and anything that looks good on me I go for it,” he said.

Meanwhile, King Promise has announced the release date for his debut album “AS PROMISED”. He has promised to release the most anticipated album on Friday the 5th July 2019.
